Great Leaders Nurture

Sometimes people just need someone to listen to them. Other times they just need a little understanding and a sensitive act of service. I love this video and wanted to share it. I believe it can transform the way you look at things as a leader. It has already had a large impact on my thinking.

If people will pull more out of their pockets as a token of appreciation, what will those you lead give to you if you show more appreciation as a leader? Here are three things you can do to help increase the attitude of gratitude as a leader.

There are a number of creative ideas waiting to be discovered and implemented. Unfortunately some leaders may dismiss creative employee ideas without fully understanding what is being presented.

It is always refreshing for me personally to run across a leader like Steven from time to time. I have had a lot of respect and in some cases more loyalty for leaders who could be genuinely emotional on occasion. I am talking about open leaders who could share an inspiring personal story and could shed tears. Or leaders who could cry with those they lead because they care.

People these days are being asked to do more with less, are feeling a lack of appreciation, are struggling with stresses outside of the workplace and the message often times is “just be happy you have a job.”
