Funny Teamwork Video – Do you know any team building consultants like this?

We write a lot about teamwork and team building. I recently came across this very funny video of a team building consultant named Dr. Langley. Hilarious! Have you ever had a team building consultant like this, or sort of like this? We would love to hear your story. Comment below.

I love the trust fall! Participants say: “I don’t know if this is a good idea.” Team Building Consultant, “I think it is a great idea.” Very funny.

This video is funny and I have to admit I can see myself in it.
There is a challenge that we all face, this consultant walked into an environment that already had a system that was producing challenges (the woman who lost her office to the younger woman with the elastic bands). The manager decided for his own personal gain to inspire “teamwork” with no input from the team. Additionally the team had no idea why they were present or what the larger (meta-plan) was for the team building.
I know that as team building profesionals we can be seen as “fluff” and “over-exuberant” so this is why we must learn and become smarter ourselves.

Good points Michael. We must take the time to ask what is really needed. In this case I doubt that happened.
But regardless, it is very funny. We get a bad wrap because of poor needs assessments.
