Kids and Leadership – What makes a good leader? Inspiring Video

Kids and Leadership Video

The following is an inspirational video of kids and their thoughts on leadership. I think you will agree that they already get it.

They understand that leaders are first and foremost servants. And the best leaders really care.

Here are a few of my favorite quotes from the video below:

“Encourage with imagination. Because if someone says I am going to build a sandcastle… and you say ‘oh that could be really big and wonderful and that might be even as big as the whole beach.’ That would make them feel better and that would make them know they can do it.”

“If somebody makes a mistake, it’s like oh… alright that’s just one mistake… I mean…everybody makes mistakes. Just go on, you can do it.”

“I think when people help other people, I think they get like a little good feeling inside. And… I don’t know what that’s called, but it’s just something that lifts you.”

I would love to hear your thoughts after you have watched the video. What do you think? Do they get it? What are your favorite quotes from the video?

Note: Please be patient, takes about 5 second to start.
