Have you ever had a leader who said they would do one thing, but did another? How did you feel about that leader? Did he lose some credibility and trust in your eyes? To do what you say you will do is fundamental to your integrity as a leader. But how often do you see leaders do the opposite?

Do you have a need to waste lots of time at work? Most of us are on the lookout for a tip or two from time to time, right?
I had just assumed a new position as Senior Manager for a Service Desk (“Help Desk”) for a major outsourcing firm. Between the existing workload and the new work that was flooding in, I felt like I was “meeting myself coming and going”.
My wife has always had a way of making me feel good. She will often say things like, “You are handsome,” or “You are a good dad.” Simple, yes. Impactful, yes! I know I’m not the most handsome guy on the block, but she thinks I am. As long as I feel she thinks I am, then I am!
