What to do at the end of a team project or goal…

Party There are two simple things, but critical things you should do at the end of each project or goal completion.

1.    Celebrate the heck out of successes. Make a party out of it. The more fun and rewarding it feels the more motivated employees will be to tackle the next project or goal.

2.    Evaluate the good and the bad. Take the time to ask team members what went well and what didn’t go so well and what they would do different next time.

By doing these two simple things at the end of each project or goal completion you will ensure that teams stay more motivated and perform more efficiently and effectively with every project and goal.

What types of things have you done as a leader to celebrate and evaluate at the end of a project?
