I hope that many of you have had the opportunity to read the powerful story that is told of Mahatma Gandhi I posted recently. If not you can find it here “My Favorite Leadership by Example Story Ever – Powerful.” What we do is more important than what we say as leaders as Gandhi demonstrated. Whether we do wrong, or whether we do right it is noticed.
I would like to share with you a powerful video I posted in October of 2009, as a follow-up to this recent story of Gandhi. This video demonstrates the power of how our parenting by example can adversely affect our children. As Gandhi demonstrated we can also lead by good example as well with positive results.
Do you know of leaders that ask one thing, but do another? What kind of effect has that had on their organizations or teams? Please comment below. Thanks.
