Touching Compassionate Story (Video) – Lessons For Leaders

Okay, I am a softy for stories of compassion. They lift my spirits and inspire me. I came across this video of a dog named Baxter, who incidentally passed away on the afternoon of October 16th, 2009. Baxter is a therapy dog who visits dying patients in hospices.

I was touched by this dog's ability to help people in the last days of their lives to feel good. This video may not be a typical leadership story, but its lesson is inspiring and can help leaders realize that simple things can mean so much to a person whether they are journeying to eternal life, or sojourning longer in this one.

Is Baxter a leader? What can we all learn as leaders from Baxter? Please comment below.
