Well, here it is… my first video. I would love to hear what you think 🙂
Today I am talking about something that we all do—we often care too much about what others think.
Now don’t get me wrong, we should care how those we lead think of us. It is normal and to an extent healthy, helping us be more sensitive and empathetic. And of course, as leaders, we should regularly be asking others how we are doing, what we can do differently etc..
But when our decisions as leaders are solely made around how others might perceive us, it can really effect how we lead, and it normally isn’t good.
In this video I talk about three things you can do to help you worry less about what others think and focus more on doing what’s right for you, your team and/or organization.
