On Fridays I will post a video that has something inspiring around leadership. I am happy to post the first one today. It is a movie called “Forever Strong.” It is centered on the sport rugby and a teenage boy on that team who struggles with two different leadership styles – that of his father/coach and that of his new coach Larry Gelwix.
On Wednesday I posed the question, what kind of leader was your father? The response I got was great. Many of the comments were touching tributes to fathers who had profound influences.
I thought it was fitting with Father’s Day coming up that we discuss the type of leader that makes a good father.
Whether you are Donald Trump, Kobe Bryant, Jack Welch, or Joe the computer technician on the fourth floor, you are best motivated when you know the score.
Someone just sent me the following video. There are lots of applications to becoming a leader in this video. The questions I have are who made the biggest difference? The first, second or third guy? And how does this apply to us who are trying to become exceptional leaders? What do you think?
