Anyone can be a leader – Great Video

The thought that comes to me as I watched the powerful video below is that leadership is sometimes a one on one thing that has the potential to affect literally thousands of people, maybe even millions. Anyone can be a leader. I was deeply touched by the leadership a young man by the name of Charles Steadman demonstrated and an entire student body embraced when a young woman by the name of Savannah, who was born with Cerebral Palsy, was voted Homecoming/Inaugural Queen.

Great Leaders Nurture

Sometimes people just need someone to listen to them. Other times they just need a little understanding and a sensitive act of service. I love this video and wanted to share it. I believe it can transform the way you look at things as a leader. It has already had a large impact on my thinking.

The term leader is used loosely. Leaders leave legacies of integrity, caring, love, giving back more than they took and inspiring others to do the same; they have purpose and sustaining value. Leaders leave an impact on the things that matter most. not how much money they make or worlds they conquer. John Wooden was a leader in the purest definition.

On a rainy Sunday night Amy Korin received her Domino’s Pizza an hour late. And to top it off, it was the wrong pizza! She immediately begin to Tweet her experience. What happened next is special. Ramon DeLeon, a managing partner of seven Domino’s stores in Chicago, responded via twitter and posted a video apology.

Power of Positive Reinforcement – Powerful Video – Smile

I came across this absolutely amazing video the other day on the power of positive reinforcement. I have always felt that one of the most immediate in results and effective things a leader can do is provide genuine and timely positive reinforcement.
